About the Role :

We are seeking a sharp, analytically rigorous Business Analyst with strong SQL and Python skills to work on core business problems spanning data modeling, AI-augmented analysis, and strategic decision support. This is a high-ownership role suited for someone who is genuinely comfortable working with large datasets, curious about how trading and crypto markets work, and driven to move quickly, engage deeply with data, and directly influence key business outcomes — revenue, growth, and data-driven product improvement — within a crypto/derivatives trading environment.

What You'll Do

• Work closely with leadership to break down business problems into structured, data-driven questions.
• Translate trading and product context into meaningful business metrics
• Design and maintain clean, logical data models and pipelines that enable fast, repeatable analysis
• Use SQL and Python to extract, transform, and analyze data across multiple sources
• Build dashboards, cohort analyses, and funnel/retention studies to track trade journeys.
• Identify and investigate data quality issues — missing fields, inconsistent formats, duplicate or broken records — and translate findings into clear, actionable recommendations for resolution
• Leverage AI tools to accelerate analysis, automate repetitive reporting, and surface insights faster

What We're Looking For

• 2–4 years of experience in analytics, business intelligence, or a related data role .
• Preferably from IIT/NIT or a comparably rigorous quantitative background
• Strong SQL proficiency — comfortable writing complex queries involving CTEs, window functions, and joins across large tables independently
• Solid working knowledge of Python for analysis (pandas, basic data pipelines)
• Genuine interest in AI-assisted analysis, with experience using LLMs or AI tools to accelerate research, querying, and reporting
• Structured thinker, capable of translating a business question into a rigorous analysis plan
• Working knowledge of basic statistics and experimentation methods
• Comfortable operating in a fast-paced, high-ownership startup environment with direct access to leadership
• Experience with, or strong interest in, trading — particularly derivatives and crypto markets; prior exposure to fintech, crypto exchanges, or trading platforms is a plus.
